Hotpoint Slimline Dishwasher SDW60

I have the above, not my favourite piece of kit but before I throw it out I thought I would ask if anyone has any idea why it went bang and started smoking from the the control panel. I have taken it off but can't find any evidence of a burnt anything.

Heater poss blown tracks on pcb.

Thanks for the speedy response, bit of a novice, what are the implications of this because the machine does still work.

You've been lucky so far. Keep a eye on it in case it burns up.
