The dryer has just started cutting out after 5 - 10 mins! The heat is on as the clothes feel warm and if you leave it for a few minutes and press start it starts up ok but cuts out again after a few minutes.

Replaced the two stats just above the heating elements about 12 months ago as there was no heat output at the time - that solve that problem. Have cleaned condenser and filters but made no difference!

Has anyone got any suggestions? Got two babies and the washing pilling up to to our fantasctic summer weather ;)

Thanks

Chris

Unplug it. Take the lid off and look behind the front panel. Look to see if there's a relay around the centre of it, between facia and drum. If there is, you need a new one.

Thanks for reply Sleepyhead!

Taken top off and yes there is a relay top centre between the top edge of drum and facia. Relay manufacturer "Schrack" part number RM505730. Will try and locate part on google, but any suggestions where I could get one?

Thanks

Chris

Hi friends,
I have a HOTPOINT TDC30 CONDENSER DRYER all appears to be working fine however the clothes are not "heat" dried.

Any ideas what may be wrong and how i can repair.

Your professional advise appreciated.
