We have had a Hotpoint Super Silent WF 860 1600 spin washing machine for 2 and a half years. When spinning its sounds like a plane landing silent it is not can someone give us an idea of what the problem is thanks danny

Probably bearings. 5 year parts warranty from the Indesit Company on these machines. Phone them, cost you around £95 for the labour, all parts are free.
