MY HOTPOINT WM CONTINUES TO SUPPLY WATER RIGHT THRU CYCLE .
THE PUMP IS NOISY ON EMPTYING.
WHEN PROGRAM ENDS WATER DOES NOT SHUT OFF.
POSSIBLE CAUSES WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

Hairclip /bra wire in pump ,remove rear White cover pump in the corner

Thanks for your prompt reply and info, will check the pump.
I found a wire in the filter so it may well be the answer.
