Hotpoint WD72

Hi,
today found that the door on the wd72 will not open.
the keyhole icon stays on even at the end of cycle.
The only way to open the door was to turn the mains off.
As soon as you turn the machine back on the Icon reappears.

Anyone help ?

door lock needs replacing ,part no is 1602390 try ebay cost less than a tenner.
