Hotpoint wd860 not spinning

Hi,
Can anyone help? My hotpoint wd860 does not get up to full spin. Goes through the programme normal it seems but when it gets to the end the stuff in there is still dripping wet.
Tried doing a 1600 spin on its own and that doesn't work. However the 800 spin does work.
Any ideas?

Check the filter and waste plumbing for blockages. Try dong a spin with the waste hose draining into a bucket.
