Hotpoint WDD960G Filter?????

Hi,
Our machine has started to display the F11 code which would indicate that the filter would need a check. I've taken off the bottom front cover and where the user manual says the filter should be is a red cover with a warning logo on.
Any ideas anyone??

It's at the back remove the rear white cover. Be warned f11 means pump disconnected if the wires are attached that means the pcb has blown cos the pump dont have a thermal cut out on it.

Nice one, cheers for the info. The wife says it's intermittent at the moment so hopefull it'll be poor connections as it's 3 years old.

Hi,
Removed the white back cover and can't see any signs of a filter, just the small pump and a direct line into the plastic case.
I've cleaned the terminals wil electrolube and will try again.
Is there definately a filter on these things?

The filter is the black cup with a jubilee clip round it.

Update,
no continuity on the pump terminals so I guess that's goosed!!!
Looke easy enough to replace tho!

The filter is under the drum , follow the rubber tube from the pump it's 3 inches away. And yes the pump is knacked.

Pulled the filter out and there was a pleasant surprise, 2 x £1 coins, a button and some plastic packing!!!!!!!
I made an error with the motor. I just bought a new one but realised that my meter wouldn't beep out on continuity as there's about 160 ohms in the coil and both are the same so it looks like I'll have to send that back.
If cleaning all the money out :0) doesn't sort the F11 what will I need to look at next?

sorry rocks, just one more question.
Will the controller error mode if I pull the connector off the motor and plug my meter in or do I have to have the motor in the circuit?
My background is mobility products and as soon as you start creating open circuits the controllers will error immediately and not even attempt to power up.

Do you mean the pump not the main motor. If you set it to drain then put meter on the red plug wires it should show 240 v. It will error with f11 after 2 mins to show disconnected. If no power to pump then pcb has blown.

Right then,
I hopefully think it's 'happy days' !!!
I checked on a rinse cycle and was getting a 240 feed to the drain motor. As the motor was already out I plugged that in and it fired up on the floor so fingers crossed the problem is solved.
I did take the multi plug off the board and give it a quick clean so I'll run it now and see how we go.
@ rocks - you are a true gent for your advice, great thanks mate as I'm only used to 24v not 240v
