Hotpoint WF541 Aquarius Won't spin or heat water

Just had a new board fitted after problem with flashing lights. Now it won't spin. The drum turns OK as it goes through the cycle and it takes in water OK and empties too. Also since the new board was fitted the water does not heat. Any ideas please?
