Hi folks,

Ive recently had a problem with a cold fill inlet valve, one of the solenoids was not operating on the machine, but was working in isolation. Checked continuity from pcb through each solenoid and both read 3.5k ohms.

Ive just changed the power pcb and now have the following lamps lit:
1, 2, 3, & 4 all on, on/off lamp flashing... any ideas?

Mick

Why did you change the pcb. Did you prog it to the commercial code was it new or second hand pcb.

Hi rocks,

Both valves were working ok when I tested them, and assumed the pcb was faulty.
The pcb is brand new from Hotpoint.

Mick

But was it programmed most come out blank. That error means dryer heater relay faulty. It's not for that mc. Wrong pcb , have you got the old pcb you can slot back in

B****r!!!

Yes, I've got the old pcb, that gives a flashing Prewash lamp and only one fill valve working.

Mick

I have never known a pcb to fail cos of a valve fault. I done loads of valves , but no pcbs for that fault. You will have to send pcb back and get it programmed to that mc.

Problem solved... replaced old pcb and the mc is now working, no prewash flashing, fills ok and running sweet as a nut...

Thanks for the help rocks, sorry to have bothered you... bl***y gremlins.

Mick
