I hope someone can help me here please. The washing machine has been getting louder for a while so I ordered a new set of bearings and today opened it up to start the replacement. All of the video tutorials that I have seen show the two halves of the plastic drum being unscrewed and separated to allow access to the metal inner drum and bearings. Regrettably, my drum has no screws holding it together but just looks like it has been sealed / welded together (see photos). Is it possible to separate it out and if not, does anyone know how to get to the bearings please?

Nope complete drum needed. There's two differant models for yours. That drum don't split.

Bugger!

Thanks, I think I expected that. I can't find a replacement drum anywhere online. Do you know where I can find one please so that I can work out if it is worth replacing or will I have to buy a new machine?

Many thanks.

Drum part no is coo196424 cost 86.66 plus vat. Direct from hotpoint.
