Our Hotpoint washing machine is playing up this two days, the lights on the control panel just keep running constantly from one cycle to another, but nothing happens, any advise on what this could be or if it can be fixed would be great.

Model number WMA54, the lights on the Door Lock, Prewash, Wash, Rinse and Spin, Final Spin, End light up in a chasing fashion, the machine takes in water but not much and makes a strange when the drum is moving around.
