My washer has been in the family for generations - only joking!. never-the-less it does have some sentimental value and it's been extremely reliable. Just recently, i've noticed it becoming increasingly noisy and has now started to grind intermittently on spin cycle. I ran a maintenance wash recently because washing was coming out with greasy marks on it. I suspect it's the bearings and am considering running it into the ground until it packs up completely. i'd like to fix it.
words of wisdom anyone?

yes sounds like bearing ,to access the bearing lid off, front panel off ,consol panel off then 13 clips round front of drum ,rear middle panel off undo large nut undo pulley belt off inner drum pulls out then drift bearings out you might need a drum surport that is on the inner drum ,bearing about a tenner surport about about 20 quid all on ebay ,allow yourselve 3 hrs at least depending on your skill ,i do it in 40 mins but ive done thousands, and you will need a drumseal, that seals the front plate to the drum otherwise it might leak when put backtogether.
