Hotpoint WMA 54 Problem

My Hotpoint WMA54 decided to stop halfway through its cycle.

All that happens now is the DOOR LOCKED light keeps flashing.

Has anyone any ideas?
 
look at the moter has it got white covers over the brushes if so you need a set of brushes and a pcb .brushes have taken board out.
 
Could it be just the brushes?

I've had a look in the back and there is black carbon dust everywhere?

The brushes do have white covers on. Does that definatley mean the PCB is knackered?
 
pcb has got blown tracks on it if you can repair them then replace brushes as well .
