Hotpoint WMA52 problem

Hi, our WMA52 has got a fault. It doesn't finish a cycle - no spin - then stops with Door lock, Wash, rinse & spin & Final spin lights on.
Have changed the pump, & main PCB to no avail. PCB can be returned for a small fee thankfully. The firm that sold me the board www.emwelec.co.uk seem to think it's a motor fault but can't be sure.

I've seen another thread somewhere with the same problem, but no resolution.

I've seen motors on ebay etc. is it an easy DIY job?

Check the motor brushes poss worn.
