HotpointWd63S washer dryer not drying

Hotpoint WD63S (Washer/Dryer) The tumble dryer has stopped drying the clothes, it goes through the motions but only blows cold air! I have changed the heater element thinking this could be at fault, but it still won't heat up! Could it be the thermostat? If so were do i order one from.

you should have checked the stats first. if it's the model i'm thinking of there will be a 185c cutout towards the front of the heater box. if you ned to replace any stats then get them from your hater supplier.

Thanks for that, i'll change the stat as thought. Is there anywhere online that i can order the stat from as i live in quite a remote place so it would be easier to order in.

you could by pass the 185c cutout to try and see if it works. of course if it does then you must replace the cutout because a fault else where could be the cause. simply remove the two connectors and safely join them together.
