Hi, we had out shower tray, enclosure and tiles replaced about a year ago due to ongoing issues with cracks in tiles and a crack in the shower tray.

We got that all sorted and is fine (i am assuming this isn't from the new shower)

Below as you can see on the pic, there is a patch of mould, which is dry.

There was a cabinet here, so think that’s why we had never seen it until now.

I am just wondering how best to clean it all, and if there’s anything i should be putting on it specifically?

You can try spraying it with dilute vinegar. Leave it for an hour or so and then wipe it away. An old t-shirt will reduce the risk of leaving fibres behind. That said, wait for other replies. If the carpet is wool it may damage it further.

You have to be careful whatever you do doesn't damage the colour of the carpet.

Initially, I would try hand hot water, and light scrubbing. Leave it damp for an hour, then wet it if necessary again and more light scrubbing.

If that doesn't work, try a carpet shampoo or possibly liquid clothes detergent, wet and scrub again.
