how best to leave this for plastering?

how best to leave this for plastering? I will be hiring a plasterer for the job. The insulation is 25mm.

• Just insulation tape and let the plasterer sort it out
• insulation tape and stick in a strip of plasterboard
• something else

I would say 'build it out' with plasterboard and you will have a nice 90 degrees to have plastered.

thanks, that what I thought. Hope is that the finish will all line up with the window reveal and cill. I'll try to carefully cut some board 20mm wide!

As long as you leave it 2mm under then the plasterer can feather it in.
