How best to remove this hook from the wall?

Hi

I have this little hook (about 4cm) with 4 nails in a wall and now need to remove it.

I have tried using tweezers/scissors to grasp the tiny amount of nails that are sticking out.
I have tried pulling the hook to see if the nails come with it... no luck so far and i'm worried if i pull TOO hard then it will break and make it harder (tho im not worried about the hook itself as i wont reuse it.)


Not sure if there is some trick out there to remove it? Suggestions appreciated!

I dont agree with "cats rule!" however! and any DIY Tips to stop them relieving themselves on our front garden is appreciated!
