How close can a hob (ceramic) cutout be end of worktop run?

I have a kitchen where the hob is very close to the end of the worktop run, how close can the cutout be from the end?

So do you have an end panel?
As long as there is enough worktop to let the fram of the hob be supported

If it's adjacent a wall then you need about 100mm minimum to avoid scorching.
