Hi Im in the process of planning to install a combi boiler and rip out the old gravity fed back boiler.
the new boiler is going to be upstairs where the storage tanks are and i was wondering what pipework alterations need to be made as i recall in a previous renovation the plumber joined the pipes under the floor boards in one of the bedrooms before the went downstairs to the back boiler, This made it so all of the pipework was already in the cupboard ready to be made off into the new boiler (ie flow, return hot water and cold water. excluding the gas)
If someone could explain what he would have done and why this would be really helpful.
Thanks
