To drive a train ??

More difficult than driving a bus or HGV around London ect

Trains don’t have to be steered
No traffic jams
Or other road users

Push a lever forward to go, pull it back to stop. Takes years of practice.

Mick Lynch was on today saying how important his people are. That's his lever.

I was on a tube a few weeks ago and the driver had actually mastered how to make the thing bunny-hop.

Neeeaaaahhhhh sack the drivers and use people looking at screens in India until robots are put in.
Don't leave when the doors are open or when the light's red. Go when it's green. Be ready to stop when it's yellow. Sorted.

Driverless trains (dlr London already) will come first and then lorries. Guess there's more to it than stop start though.

Wonder if any of them migrants coming across the channel have any train driving experience ?
