I have a Vokera sp80/85 not sure of the model as in my office.

Simptoms are when running a bath the water is very warm and then after about 5mins turns stone cold, after about another 5 mins water returns warm.

Q is this due to a faulty thermistor and if so is it an easy diy repair.

Boiler is more likely to be the Excel or models produced thereafter. Unlikely to be the thermistor or the flow switch.

If the flowswitch were defective, boiler would not react to HW demand.

I would be looking at system plumbing (plastic pipe if fitted) or muck and dirt)

Could also be lack of proper service

Danny,
I understand you are the expert on Vokeras. I have a similar problem as well. Could it be due to no slow fan. The fan used to make a grinding noise and it stopped after which this problem occurs. When I switch the Boiler on (just on DHW) cannot hear the fan spinning that I used to hear before. Fan spins okay on when tap is on and CH is on.
