hi

the pressure dial on our boiler has dropped to its lowest level and we were told we need to 'charge' the boiler when this happens, something to do with topping up the water i think?

we cant remember how to do it. there are 2 tap-like turners (valves?) under the boiler unit, one turned so it is side-on to look at the other so its end-on. i know you have to do something with them, but what....?

thanks :?

With the heating turned off, open both taps fully. Water will flow in and the pressure will increase. Turn off both taps when the gauge reads 1.2 - 1.5 bar.

they should both point the same way
when filling in line with each other and when finished both should be facing front to back

Thanks.

The boiler guy left one one closed (right) and the other open (left), is there a reason for that?

No. Just forgetful

When the right hand one is open it turns the HW taps off.
