Vaillant eco tec

I am looking at an eco tec exclusive combi 838 with an Vrc430 can i control all the boiler from the vrc430? Is it a wireless control if not how far can it be postioned from the boiler.
Is the vaillant a better boiler then the bosch?

The VRC 430 is not wireless, but can be mounted where you like. It needs a 2 core 0.75mm cable from it to the boiler ebus.

Yes the Vaillants are far superior to the WB, IMHO.

Just had the same boiler installed yesterday with a VRT360 controller (not the wireless version).

Obviously a bit too early to make too many judgements but so far, very impressed with the boiler. Rads are ridiculously warm, hot water within seconds of turning the tap and also, its not very noisy when working.

The installers were impressed with it too.

I'm sure all new boilers are as good on first impression but after 6 months of having one on its last legs, its bliss!
