My Potterton Puma 80 (permanent pilot) will not fire because there is a low system pressure light on. The system is not leaking, the pressure gauge is steady on 1.5bar. I have fitted a new 'water pressure switch' but the low system pressure light stays on. :(

Can anyone help?

I have fitted a new 'water pressure switch'
Which one?
Assuming it was the right one

You may have rashly assumed that the connections on the new switch which weren't covered with a bit of plastic were the right ones to use. If you look really hard at the old switch you'll see where the connectors were. If not, try again - only 2 more options!

Thanks ChrisR!

I found, as you had suggested my contacts were mixed-up!
The boiler is now OK.
