I have wooden framed windows with double glaszing in.
Can anyone tell me how I can get the panes out in 1 piece/safely?
The size of the panes is 3 x 4 feet and on about 4 x 6 feet

Thanks for any help

beaded in or putty'd in?

beaded then you need to pry the beads off, start in the center and work to the edge with a thin flat blade such as a walpaper scraper etc, you may break one..

putty then you have to scrape the putty out..

most likely siliconed in on the weather face, so a sharp utility knife. ( the snap blade type may be better as they are longer than a stanley type. )

beat in mind that I'm an electrician, not a glazier and am only going on what I've seen done on various sites and TV DIY shows such as "This Old House"...
