Hi.....2 years ago I had some conifers cut down and replaced with a fence.
Some of the stumps are not quite level with the ground,
I have planted some shrubs but I need to get rid of the stumps.
What's the best way?

any ideas appreciated.

many thanks.....Mike

A stump grinder will do it, might be cheaper to get someone in than hiring it.

Reminds me of a mate of mine that does firework displays on the side. He tried blowing up a tree stump but all that happened was that the soil around the roots blew away leaving untouched tree.

This won't get rid of them completely, but with a particularly vicious wooden plan root I got a saw and sawed off as close to the ground as I could comfortably get.
