I want to make a frame with a pair of doors to fit around the consumer box.

I going to box in the pipes at the bottom(ok doing that) & run skirting along the front of it.

Struggling to work out how to do the other bit.

The alcove is not square 840mm at bottom & 855mm at where i roughly want it end. One side of alcove is 195mm & the other 230mm.

What size wood for framing 2"" x 1" or bigger?
MDF or plywood for boxing in & doors? What hinges would i need?

Is it best just to do the frame for the alcove & sort out the doors afterwards. How would i get round the different wall sizes or am i over thinking things.

Probably a few things i haven't thought about yet, so fire away.

Many thanks for reading

Wickes do cheap 2x3 (38 x 63mm) CLS stud work, it's pretty cheap and you can select so fairly easy to get straight pieces. Make the frame where you want the doors to sit and then pack out to the side or behind with off cuts or plastic packers where space permits. Screw through the ide and bottom to ensure a solid frame for the doors. Scribe off cuts to fit gaps to side or above frame

22mm mdf. Open back, corner braces for rigidity and hanging. You don't need to make a frame with timber.
Excuse my lack of knowledge, but how would you hang a door or doors using just corner braces?
