Hello,
I am trying to access the drain pump which I believe to be blocked by some glass bits. I've tried all the obvious cleaning remedies already.

I need to remove the metal base plate right underneath - it has some lug-type device in the plastic surround which may have to be poked or twisted. No sign of any Torx screws in the neighborhood.

I don't really want to mash it to bits to get it removed.

Once inside the drain pump should be easy to strip down (lots of info from this and other web-sites) - thanks.

Thanks for any help ! It has to be easy, really....

The baseplate is clipped in place, there are no screws. You can also access the drain pump via a removable cover on the LH side (under the door).
If you decide to go in through the front it is easier with the outer door off (more room to work).
