I have the B&Q Cooke and Lewis Kigal monobloc kitchen tap. I need to remove one of the tap handles but can't see how. I have flicked off the very tiny cover where the red dot is but there doesn't seem to be any kind of nut or screw, just a metal housing for the cover. Are these handles accessed in a different way? There's a big screw holding the spout, which might be a clue. Thanks for any advice.

Some monbloc taps just pull off, or are supposed to, so it might be a question of trying different ways of removing it. You might be able to get the edge of a flat bladed screwdriver in the groove where the handle meets the body of the tap, and gently lever it off. If not a pair of grips over a cloth to avoid marking the finish.

Sometimes an Allen key type screw hidden behind cover, or a grub screw on it somewhere.

Look for grub screw, should be on handle underneath, have a feel around, usually has a hex head.

Failimg that spray some wd40, leave a while and try pulling off using large water tank grips/pliers using suede cloth to protect handle from scratches
