Hi, please bear with me, I’ve included photos to try and explain.
The seal on the bottom frame of my door has failed. I’ve marked where the seal with the red pen.

I’ve bought a replacement seal, just wonder how best to fit it in the channel as I can’t access the ends to slide it in.
Thankyou in advance

Drill a series of holes in the centre of the channel only as wide as the bottom part of the gasket a few inches in from one end (i'd do hinge side) clear out any sharp edges and swarf and then slide the gasket in from the end, when it reaches the end slide it a bit further so as to compress the gasket and snip it off to length, then curl the gasket up end feed the other end in through the same slot back the other way, the longer the slot the easier but too long and they'll be a portion of the gasket that isn't held so smaller the better, most probably 2 or 3 holes joined together or if you have a dremmel type you could enlarge the slot about a centimetre long

they stretch in, get the end nearest the hinges in then apply tension and push up and in as you go along the door.
