I'm planning to add a radiator in the kitchen so I will need to drain the whole system.

I have a worcester bosch 28i junior and it says to vent the heat exchanger after filling. I have taken the cover off and can see the area the manual points to, it's a white plastic nut with a tube attached to it.

Is it just a case of slightly opening this white nut, venting it and then tightening it up again?

Yes. They usefully tell you not to get water on the electrics. You were about to do that, weren't you

Thanks, no I was not going to do that as I did see the part about covering the fan. Water is going to come out at the nut and not just through the tube in that case, I thought there might be a screw to vent it direct into the tube like a radiator.
