Have a kitchen and bathroom to refit, plus need to add rads to a new boiler I had installed, would like to know which direction you plumbers like to run pipework, from units back to incomong supply or from supply to units [by units I mean sink,bath, rads etc].Is it preferable to do in one direction or does it just depend on access /direction of floor joists for pipework etc.

It si run whatever is the easiest and most convienent regards what is in the way and how rooms need to be used and back to normal as quick as
