how do you meet metric tiles with imperial tiles

Hi we have just had an extension on our house
how do we make the metric tiles meet the imperial tiles from our house to the new extension.

you mean get two different size tiles to meet up? as in width or thickness?

you realy need a neutral area with somthing to break up the bit inbetween as you cant get away from the difference in tile size although small will be noticable unless you seperate by visual breaks of several inches and full height

try and have the tiles finnishing around corners or where the overal height changes again either side off the visual break

the width
