HOW DO YOU TILE AROUND A SINK THATS ALREADY FITTED?

Hi
we have just started to renovate our downstairs toilet. we have replaced the sink and already fitted it it will be a reall pain to have to take it out again we need to tile between the sink and the shelf its on this will take 2 tiles any suggestions on how we can do this and still get a watertight seal
thank you form very novice DIYers (we know wh should have done the tiles first now)

make a cardboard template and transfer this onto your tiles,then use a pair off tile nibblers and chip away,then seal with a good quality silicone..


can you not loosen the sink a liitle and slip the tile down behind it.
 
Hi,
I'm an advocate of angle grinders for the fiddly stuff. You can get a cheap one for £15-£20 from one of the DIY stores and buy a good quality diamond blade. Nibblers take so long and speaking from my own experience, its not possible to get as neat a finish as with a grinder. Depends on if you want the extra expense.

Tictic could cut around a basin using hammers I should imagine which most people have already!
