How to tile round a sink thats already fitted

How can you tile around a sink that is already fitted? it is on a shelf in the downstairs WC and there is no way to get it off. the rpoblems is that we have tiled the rest of the room and now need to do round the sink. its only 2 tiles but they need to between the sink and the ledge. any suggestions please we are desperate.
