If awaiting an assesment then how 'legally' can you carry out any work ? Do customers and builders just wait in hope ? (As I believe it is not 'good conduct' for another qualified nic spark to sign work off that they have not installed).
And yet again I ask why are there different levels of competance when it comes to the issueing of certs (pir) ? you can either test an installation or you cant.

Hold onto the EICs until you're reg'ed (except assement job - put that through LABC) then falseify the date, send out EIC, and register them :wink:

(obviously agree the hold onto EIC thing with customers)
