How far from the tap can small water heaters be housed ?

Hi,

I'm looking to use something like this to heat the sink water in a small bathroom

The unit will be mounted in a small cupboard about 1.5m away from the sink - will this be ok to give reasonably hot water still ?

Don't forget with a small heater like those you're likely to need a spray nozzle on the tap. Hold a 2l drinks bottle under the kitchen tap and see how low the flow needs to be to make it fill in 1 minute!

The instructions on the site do not give the assumed starting temperature of the water. This is important as it can vary significantly between winter (just above freezing) and summer (above 15 deg.)
