Hi all,
I have added some images. Now I want to remove the walls in red to open up the kitchen and dining room. Now I now 2 of the walls are stud walls and non load bearing. My questions is for the green boxed part. Is it likely a steel also runs above above so the wall is likely to be non load bearing?
The dining room is the original house and the kitchen and floor above is an extension. I am moving into the house and starting to pre plan all this and budget.
Thanks for the advice
(Also I will consult a structural engineer of-course)
