Hi all
I've read various instructions around the web about how long you have to wait after re plastering before you can wallpaper.
Have read about having to wait up to 6 months
I presume this is talking about if you've had the whole room replastered.
In my case, it's a 1930s brick house with cavity walls, and I've just had to patch up the walls in a few places rather than the whole room.
Above both the windows is the main bit, plaster fell off both lintels as paper was removed so I've bonded and skimmed them, each area is about 5 ft wide by 6 inches tall.
Above the fireplace was the other main bit where I have a circle about 2 ft in diameter that was also bonded and skimmed.
Apart from that, it's just been channelling in surface mounted sockets and plastering over that.
After just couple of days they have started to change colour from dark/wet to light/dry.
Can I presume that when it all goes light it's safe to paper over?
Hanging thickish patterned/embossed paper that will be painted over.
many thanks
