How long for screed to dry before i can lay carpet?

We are just about to have the new extension floor screeded and was wondering how long before we can have carpet fitted?

Approx i day drying out time for every 1mm screed.

I screeded approximately 3mm in a porch and left it a couple of days before I layed down my wooden flooring and that was a couple of years ago and I have had no problems

Well Wayne, that is about one day per mm , isn't it ? Or did you not mean 3 mm ?
