How much pfte tape ?

ive put a new radiator on.

and screwed it the tails with pfte tape but the leak still.

There not gushing water but if i rub my finger under the join i get water on my finger

7 or so turns moving away from start of thread with the bulk of turns towards the end.

Try smearing in some LS-x now they are fitted, save the work of draining system again.

you do have to use quite a lot of ptfe to seal the threads but not too much as i did split a radiator once!
you could try ptfe and some jointing paste such as boss white.

Nope today is my bank holiday seeing as i don`t normally work mondays. :LOL:
 
i am talking about the bit that goes in to the radiator

if you keep on screwing it it will go all the way in and be lost forever

What will be lost forever? :?:
 
Did you wind the tape on the right way ? As you look at the end that goes into the rad, wind on clockwise. For what its worth, i wind round 11 times but then i think i've got O.C.D. and bad things will happen if i don't do 11. :confused:

All done last night

Just needed more tape and all fits nice and tight now no leaks
