hi were looking to have our new shower enclosure tiled and the shower tray installed and would like to know what it should roughly cost? the new shower tray is 800mm wide by 1400mm long, the walls will be freshly plastered and we will supply the tiles, the long wall will be white 200x100mm white metro tiles, the short wall will be 4 100x100mm blue tiles in the centre with the remaining 200mm either side of the blue being in the white 200x100mm metro tiles.

i calculate i will need 171 white metro tiles and 76 of the blue tiles, the tiler will need to supply a suitable grout and anything else he feels will be required, we will be asking local workman this week we'd just like to have a rough price to go on

thanks
chris

Tray in 1/2 a day, tile 1 day, grout and tidy 1/2 day. Total 2 days, £400. Grout no more than a tenner, first fix pipework no more than £40. As long as you supply all materials youve said (including tile adhesive) and THEY ARE ALL ON SITE! (nothing will grind a trademans goat more than not having enough of something so the 2 days runs into 2 days and 2 hrs.) Also remember 10% waste on tiles and adhesive.
