how reliable are easy clean egress hinges?

Looking at fitting some side hung easy clean egress hinges but i'll be just outside the manufacturers spec on width (20mm too wide) but easily under on height (about 250mm under).

Do you think i'll have problems?
How reliable are these hinges compared to normal egress hinges?

Usually pretty good mate - as far as Manuf. spec is concerned they work to a much higher tolerance, which I should think is based on weight of glass - in your case 20mm -v- 250..... no prob. The only 'flaw' I can think of is when the customer does not slide the sash parallel,by that I mean as vertically as possible across its travel, and the hinges become stressed. Fit them, keep well lubed so that nether top nor bottom slides become sticky and you should be OK
