I voted to leave because I was uninformed and ignorant.

I have learnt from my mistakes and no longer ignorant.

You have chosen to remain uninformed and ignorant and are a miserable gammon that never stop moaning

Anyway, you can stew on that, I’m off out to spray some apple trees.
Why did you not want the UK to be a member of the European Union?
Using the excuse of being an idiot isn't good enough, we all know you are, but there must have been a reason.

To a drama queen looking for problems I suppose it could be but businesses are geared up for dealing with such issues with no problems.
Yes, issues that cause more work as they weren't issues previously.

Slowly but surely...

Notch says” I am misinformed and ignorant”
Straightened that out quickly enough then

To be fair, a lot of people felt misinformed by the Leave side. I followed the referendum pretty closely, and I am pretty sure none of the big players from Leave ever mentioned the sort of hard Brexit we ended up with. The narrative was that we could leave and keep all the benefits, and that it would simply be a choice between the Switzerland or Norway models.

FOM was never a proposal on the table from the leave side as I remember it.
That was one of the main reasons why so many voted leave.
Switzerland and Norway both have FOM with the EU.

For fecks sake guys, NO ONE knew how Brexit was going to play out. Never mind us plebs, the politicians, government and opposition didn't have a scooby either.

It's like Trump and the Tariffs, no one actually knows how it's all going to play out. Regardless, 50% will be able to say 'see, told you so!' we just don't know what 50% yet ;)

Because I believed the rancid hogwash sold by Vote Leave

Using the excuse of being an idiot isn't good enough
I said ignorant and uninformed.
Once I became informed I accepted I was wrong……the majority of the U.K. have done the same.

Why are you still uninformed 9 years later? Are you a stubborn middle aged opinionated gammon like Muttie and Frilly who can’t learn

I disagree.

'Murca imposed swingeing tariffs around a century ago.
Many said it worsened the great depression : some, even contributed to the second World War.

The world that has made us plebs wealthier and more comfortable than any in history was heavily reliant on free trade between nations.
