how the hell do i take top off this tap?

Hi,

One my bath taps no longer works..i wanted to strip it down and clean it out (hoping that would sort it)

Anyone advise me how to strip it down??? Cheers

Not seen the particular tap but looks like the top chrome section may either unscrew or prise off, or failing that the entire top may prise off. Look too cheap to be worth a fix, have a spare set of taps standing bye, you may need them.

The smooth top piece will unscrew (most likely rather than prize) revealing the screw holding the head onto the shank.
