How to attach decking steps to concrete wall

Hi all,

I'm looking at making some decking steps and i'm not sure of the best way to attach the top of the stringers to my wall outside. The stringers are 58mm thick (Wickes 5 tread decking stringer), I've looked at various hangers but can't find the right size. Any suggestions?

you may be best screwing a timber to the end of them and then fixing the whole lot to the wall.

A joist hanger would give more long term strength should something start to rot though.

Surely a 2 inch hanger would be fine if you planed a few mm off the ends of the stringers
