How to backflush my boiler

I have been told i need to backflush my boiler as the hot water keeps running hot & cold. Its a Heatline vizo. Can anyone explain how please as i would love a consistantly hot shower??

I reckon you misheard that.
I have heard of backfilling, and flushing, but never of backflushing.
Judging by the complaint and the make of the boiler, I would guess your plate hex is blocked due to poor installation and lack of adequate maintenance.
That would mean flushing the system and replacing the hex, or powerflushing which would solve both problems in one go.
 
hi, thanks. Pretty sure its the right thing. It gets rid of a load of black muck thats clogging up the boiler. Im trying to avoid fully flushing the system as its gonna cost a bit

Whaddaya wanna do? Flush it half?
Doing it cheap is what has caused this problem. If you don't get the system clean, you could be needing a new hex just about every year.
