Hey

We had a leak and had to remove some tiles.
I need to clean them up to put them back

Is there an easy / quicker / safer way to remove the adhesive on the back?

I have tried a hammer and chisel but already broke the first tile...

please help

depending on the adhesive they used soaking them in soapy water for 24 hours can work. if its an older style adhesive it will just scrape off after that.

Soak it off but It will take longer than 24 hours to get most of it off
Use a sanding disk on a grinder rather than a chisel for any bits left after scraping

A bosch Multi tool for any fragile work with a diamond blade will be ideal

Soaking the tiles will help
