I have a similar set up to you! However,
I bought this smart thermostat (https://a.aliexpress.com/_Eui4tLE - don't judge me!)

I want to connect it to my Glow worm Ultracom 24cxi boiler. I have the following terminals on my boiler:
24V, Ebus, 0V, OTC 1, OTC 2, Earth, N, L, R, F
(the 24V and 0V were connected by a small jumper cable)

The terminals I have on the receiver are:
N, L, M, NO, COM, NC, N01, NC1

Any ideas on what I connect? So far, I have connected the L and N of the thermostat reciever to the L and N of the router. I then connected the COM to the R of the boiler, and the NO to the F of the boiler (which I think is incorrect?).

The receiver turns on now (I guess because of the L and N) but I can't control the hearing.

Any ideas?

I have not fitted a thermostat before, and have basic electrical knowledge.

This is the thermostat RF receiver, and the boiler wiring.

I look at the link, and this

seems to show it has volt free contacts, so two wires from boiler replacing link wire to com and N/O and two more wires from same supply as boiler to L and N, is one method, but seems also you have the OpenTherm option

I have never connected up OpenTherm, and all I can do is read the manual same as you. Page 36 onwards.

Thanks, @ericmark . So to be clear, it would be
L -> L
N -> N
COM -> 24v
NO -> 0v

(Are the com and NO wires interchangeable i.e. can com go to either 24v, or 0v? And same for NO?)
